Sure. Here's a good formula, using (1) for a "not bad" soil level, (1.5) for a "pretty soiled", and (2) for "there are pizza boxes in my bedroom," and then rounding up:

[(Square footage that you want cleaned) x (Soiled level)] ÷ 1000

Examples:

[(1,800) x (1)] ÷ 1000 = 2 hours for a 1,800-sq-ft house that needs a freshen up.

[(1,000) x (1.5)] ÷ 1000 = 2 hours for a 1000-sq-ft house that is pretty soiled.

[(600) x (2)] ÷ 1000 = 2 hours for a 600-sq-ft apartment that is very soiled.

Of course, if you only want a portion clean (i.e. living room and kitchen, but not bedrooms) you can specify that, too. You can also specify which tasks you want prioritized. Bottom line - you decide how the time is used.
